Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez here. Here's one thing that distinguishes me from most of my colleagues:

The average donation to my campaign is around $17. I don't take meetings with lobbyists, and I don't spend hours in call time or at fancy fundraisers with billionaires. I never have, and I never will.
