My parents immigrated from Iran to Orlando. My mom worked at Kmart. My dad worked two jobs, with one being part-time at Disney World to make ends meet.

So it's pretty safe to say I'm not your typical candidate for office, *****

I'm Anna V. Eskamani, Florida State House Democrat and candidate for mayor of Orlando!

Growing up, I watched my parents fight for every single cent we had, and now I'm running for Mayor so that City Hall will fight for working class families like mine. 

Trump and DeSantis have made clear that they DON'T want me in this race. 

And their billionaires-first agenda has stacked the odds against people like me fighting for Orlando... but I've been defying the odds my whole life.

But ***** because I rely on grassroots fundraising, the odds are even more stacked against me.
