***** I'm Manuel Oliver. Seven years ago, my son, Joaquin, was killed in the Parkland school shooting. Since then, I've dedicated my life to ending gun violence.
I've met countless politicians who've made empty promises or refused to take action.
But I've met even more young people - like Rep. Maxwell Frost - who've made bigger impacts on this fight than almost every long-serving elected official out there.
As the March for our Lives Organizing Director and the first Gen Z'er in Congress, he knows you can't engage a new generation with the same old organizing.
So he's doing it in a new way with his annual music festival, MadSoul Fest - using music, food, and fun to engage youth, all while engaging thousands of new voters!
I'm honored to join MadSoul Fest this year, and even more excited about all the young people who'll head to the polls in 2026 because of this event and through Maxwell's youth organizing across Florida.
But far-right politicians are desperate to keep young people from voting, so Maxwell needs grassroots support to keep his youth engagement efforts stronger than ever.
So I'm helping Maxwell raise $50,000 today toward his MadSoul Victory Fund, to fuel his team's organizing work and mobilize the next generation. Can you donate $27 today and strengthen this youth-powered movement? >>
