I'm Memphis born and raised, the son of a preacher and a teacher, and the progressive Democrat running in TN-9 to fight for my hometown.

In 2023, I was one of "The Tennessee Three" that was expelled from the statehouse for protesting gun violence. The Republicans in the majority said that I had "violated decorum", and deserved an unprecedented expulsion. But that didn't silence our movement.

𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗜'𝗺 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗱𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝙪𝙣𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲-𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽-𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗲.
